Center Director Code Ninjas Draper & Holladay Draper and Holladay

Center Director Code Ninjas Draper & Holladay

Part Time • Draper and Holladay
Build a Business. Develop Kids. Make an Impact.

Code Ninjas is looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial Center Director to help lead and grow our Draper and Holladay locations.

This is not just an administrative center-management position.

We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the business, build strong relationships with families and the community, create an amazing experience for our Ninjas, develop a high-performing team, and drive sustainable enrollment growth.

Our programs introduce kids to coding, game development, AI, robotics, STEM, and technology in a fun and engaging environment. We also operate XP League, a competitive youth esports program.

The right person will combine the energy of a community leader, the relationship skills of a great educator, and the results orientation of an entrepreneur.

What You’ll Own

Grow the Centers

Take ownership of enrollment growth across our Draper and Holladay locations.

You will:

  • Generate and convert new leads and trial visits
  • Build relationships with local schools, PTAs, community organizations, sports teams, Scout groups, and other youth organizations
  • Develop grassroots and local marketing opportunities
  • Represent Code Ninjas at school and community events
  • Create partnerships that introduce more families to our programs
  • Follow up consistently with prospective families
  • Turn tours and trial sessions into long-term memberships
  • Help grow our core Code Ninjas programs as well as AI, robotics, camps, clubs, and XP League
We want someone who enjoys getting out into the community and creating opportunities rather than waiting for leads to arrive.

Create an Exceptional Parent & Student Experience

Growth isn’t just about enrolling new families. It’s about giving families a reason to stay.

You will:

  • Build genuine relationships with students and parents
  • Understand each child’s interests, goals, and progress
  • Ensure students are engaged, learning, and having fun
  • Proactively communicate with parents
  • Identify potential concerns before they become cancellations
  • Create a welcoming, energetic, and positive dojo culture
  • Help turn Code Ninjas families into advocates and referral sources
Our goal is to create a center kids are excited to attend and parents enthusiastically recommend.

Lead and Develop the Team

You’ll lead our team of instructors/Senseis and help them become exceptional mentors for our students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coaching, training, and developing staff
  • Establishing clear expectations and accountability
  • Ensuring high-quality student interactions
  • Scheduling and staffing the centers appropriately
  • Creating an energetic and collaborative team culture
  • Identifying and hiring additional talent as the centers grow
  • Ensuring consistent execution across both locations
Run the Business

You’ll have meaningful autonomy to operate the centers and will be accountable for results.

You’ll monitor and improve key metrics including:

  • Active enrollment
  • New memberships
  • Trial-to-membership conversion
  • Student retention and cancellations
  • Lead follow-up
  • Community partnerships
  • Camps and special programs
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Staffing and center operations
We believe in giving strong leaders room to operate. We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities, create a plan, execute it, measure the results, and continuously improve.

Who We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you are:

  • Entrepreneurial and highly self-motivated
  • Comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for instructions
  • Naturally good at building relationships
  • Comfortable selling and asking families to enroll
  • Excited about working with children and parents
  • Comfortable developing community and school partnerships
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Able to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable
  • Creative about grassroots marketing and business development
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
  • Driven by measurable results
Experience in education, youth programs, tutoring, STEM, coding, robotics, camps, franchising, retail/service management, sales, or business development is helpful.

You do not need to be a professional programmer.

Understanding technology is valuable, but your ability to lead people, connect with families, grow the business, and execute is much more important.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first several months, we expect you to:

  • Learn our programs, families, staff, and local markets
  • Strengthen the student and parent experience
  • Improve lead follow-up and trial conversion
  • Reduce preventable cancellations
  • Establish a consistent community outreach program
  • Develop new relationships with schools and local organizations
  • Grow active enrollment across both centers
  • Build a repeatable growth engine that continues producing results
This is an opportunity to make a visible impact rather than simply maintain an existing operation.

Compensation & Growth Opportunity

We are open to structuring compensation around the right candidate and level of commitment.

The position will include a reasonable base or hourly compensation structure with meaningful performance-based upside tied to growth and results.

We want incentives to be aligned: when you create meaningful growth for the centers, you should participate in that success.

For someone who demonstrates the ability to grow and operate the business successfully, there is significant opportunity to expand responsibilities and compensation over time.
