Code Ninjas is a leading provider of coding education for children ages 5 to 14. Job Description: 
Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators and problem solvers? Do you enjoy working with children and have a keen interest in technology, coding, and related fields? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Code Sensei at Code Ninjas, you will have the exciting role of teaching children aged 5 to 14 the fundamentals of computer coding while fostering a fun and productive learning environment. No prior experience is required – just a genuine interest in technology and a desire to make learning fun for kids! 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Teach coding concepts and principles to children using age-appropriate educational tools and resources. 
  • Create and deliver engaging and interactive coding lessons, activities, and projects that cater to the interests and abilities of students. 
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children feel encouraged to explore and experiment with coding and technology. 
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students as they progress through their coding journey. 
  • Incorporate a variety of technology-related topics and activities into the curriculum, such as robotics, Minecraft, Roblox, YouTube content creation, 3D printing, AI, and more. 
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in technology and coding education to continually enhance the learning experience for students. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Passion for working with children and helping them develop essential skills in technology and coding. 
  • Strong interest in learning computer code and various technology-related topics, including but not limited to robotics, Minecraft, Roblox, YouTube content creation, 3D printing, and AI. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with children of varying ages and backgrounds. 
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for designing innovative and engaging coding activities and projects. 
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards guiding and supporting students through their learning journey. 
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required. 
  • Must be at least in 9th grade (high school level) or above.

Compensación: $15.00 per hour
