Qualifications:
- Working history with children ages 5 and up and enthusiasm for working with kids.
- Some background in coding, or sharp enough to quickly pick up the basic concepts. STEM/Coding experience (Plus).
- Works well with others; collaborates and adapts to changing situations
- Must be fun, adaptable and able to help our ninjas have fun too!
- Knowledge of business operations, sales, and team leadership.
- Sales and bottom line oriented “Get-it-done” mentality.
- Organized and deadline and detail oriented.
- Holds high standards for themselves and the team .
- Ability to reliably commute within the Twin Cities areas
- Provide high-quality but fun coding instruction to students and help them develop their skills.
- Maintain a fun but productive environment for students and instructors.
- Manage student progress and provide weekly feedback to parents.
- Work with the executive team on lesson plans to ensure that the curriculum is engaging, effective, and up to date.
- Provide feedback to parents after working with student who is on a tour.
- Mentor and train other instructors (sensei)
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the classroom (dojo) as needed.
- Lead the Junior program to implement lesson plans and develop programs to ensure that the curriculum is engaging, effective, and up to date.
- Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of Junior camps, helping design activities and schedules that align with the center’s learning goals.
- Mentor and train other instructors on the curriculum
- Keep up to date with latest trends in coding education and incorporating new technologies and teaching methods into the center's programs
- Maintain the Padlet and other forms of parent communication as required by the Junior program
- Plan, develop and implement offsite programs like running Jr. Programs in day care centers, offsite camps and workshops.
- Provide high-quality but fun coding instruction to students and help them develop their skills.
- Engage and build positive relationships with children and families in the center.
- Work with parents to define children’s learning needs and progress
- Manage and resolve customer service issues.
- Manage student progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Work with the leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new students to the center.
- Work in collaboration with the leadership to promote the center by building relationships with schools (public and private), local businesses and the community (event participation).
- Follow up on leads in CRM, schedule tours, and close sales for new enrollments.
