Code Ninjas Palm Beach Gardens is seeking a talented Video Game Artist to join our growing team and help inspire the next generation of creators. This part-time role offers $20–$35 per hour (based on experience) with opportunities to grow alongside an exciting new franchise business.
The ideal candidate has game development experience with at least one shipped title and is passionate about both creating and teaching kids ages 6-16. You should be proficient in Unreal Engine, Unity, ZBrush, Maya, Blender, Substance 3D, Canva, Jira, and Adobe Creative Suite, with bonus points for familiarity with Godot and AI-driven game development tools.
This role requires the ability to teach and demonstrate current best practices in game development, including:
• Solid 3D modeling and character modeling
• Low-to-high-to-low poly workflows for asset optimization
• Managing game assets inside engines
• UV unwrapping, texture mapping, and texture painting
• Character and vehicle rigging
• Lighting and particle effects
• Additional skills related to video game asset development
