Create a positive, fun, safe learning environment for children ages 5–14
Deliver Code Ninjas curriculum:
block-based coding for younger ninjas
syntax-based coding for older ninjas (JavaScript, Microsoft MakeCode, Godot, C#/Unity)
Monitor student progress, support learning, and encourage confidence
Provide quick parent updates after each session
2) Lead Camps, Clubs, and Activities
Help run STEM/Robotics, Minecraft/Roblox programming, 3D printing, and seasonal camps
Design/modify activities that improve engagement and learning outcomes
3) Maintain the Dojo
Keep the dojo clean, organized, and safe
Support the team with daily operations and professionalism
4) Be a Community Ambassador (Net-New Student Growth)
We’re looking for Senseis who are excited to represent Code Ninjas in the community.
You will be expected to:
Bring in net-new trial families and enrollments through your personal network and outreach
Share Code Ninjas opportunities with friends/family, schools, and local community groups
Help promote events, camps, and free trials using scripts and resources we provide
Success expectation: contribute ~1 new student enrollment per week through your personal referrals and outreach.
Important: bring in new families into Code Ninjas.
- Passion for teaching kids and interest in technology/STEM
- Experience working with kids ages 5–14 (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of coding concepts (we train you further)
- Confident, patient, kind, and engaging personality
- Strong classroom leadership and small-group management (4–10 kids)
- Organized, proactive, and dependable
- Growth mindset and fast learner
- Local to Tracy, CA (or nearby)
- Familiarity with JavaScript / Godot / C# / Unity
- Canva or basic content creation skills
- Experience with camps, enrichment programs, tutoring centers, or youth programs
