Position: Summer Lead Camp Counselor
Code Ninjas is a coding and STEAM learning center for kids ages 5-14. Summer Camps are incredibly fun and involve coding, technology, and creating games.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Summer Lead Camp Counselor to work from June 9 - Augsut 8, to help manage the summer camps and STEM activities in Code Ninjas Cupertino center. We will require some time from the candidate to train, for which you will be given a training stipen. We need the candidate to have:

Responsibilities include:

Learn and teach Code Ninjas’ game curriculum
Communicate with Camp Director to ensure everything runs smoothly
Check in with parents if needed
Work with children (aka Ninjas) and manage classroom
Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which student can grow
Develop/modify STEM activities to support camp curriculum
Follow opening/closing and cleaning duties daily

Qualifications:

Experience working with children ages 5 and up (1 year – Required)
Computer programming experience (1 year – Preferred)
Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching
Patient, kind, and understanding
Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work
Upbeat and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning
Knowledgeable about coding and technology
Some experience in Robotics, Minecraft, or Roblox preferred

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
8:15AM - 3:15PM
